Heated Citrine is actually an Amethyst that has undergone heat treatment (high heat) to change its color from purple to orange-yellow or amber, making it resemble natural citrine (which is rarer and generally a uniform pale yellow).

Despite this modification, in lithotherapy, it is attributed most of the virtues of citrine, though sometimes with a nuance regarding the nature of its energy.
